Our mission is to help improve the quality of life of Cancer Survivors and Cancer Patients.
Our Story
The Bland Project was created by Ms. Emma Jean Bland, a fourteen year breast cancer survivor who endured more than a year of chemotherapy treatments. The Bland Project, Cancer Care Kits, are made up of items that the Bland Project founder feels very strongly helped her as she underwent treatment.
Ms. Bland remembers sitting for six hours, once a week, receiving chemotherapy treatments for more than a year. It is her pleasure to present the Bland Project, which is Cancer Care Kit, designed with love and care, for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy treatment. Ms. Bland has put the kits together to show she cares about the well-being of others.
When you sponsor a kit for only $25.00, the kits is donated and distributed, monthly to Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment at various treatment centers and hospitals throughout Prince William Country.
The best thing you can do for Cancer patients is " Be there for them".
